Goes to the heater control valve. You'll figure it out come winter. hehe
In case you were wondering, the HCV is a little to the right via your picture.

To bad I looked and the heater control valve ain't there and I know there like $400 bucks **** my life!

Unless you really need heat right now, I wouldn't buy it. (duh) lol. Are you sure it's completely gone?

Is there a heater line going over to the firewall even? maybe someone bypassed it cause the valve was bad, which means it would be flowing through the heater core all the time wether or not you are using the heater.
Either that or someone bypassed the heater core completely, which sounds like a engine bay cleaning gone wrong if you want heat this winter. If you want to replace it just buy one off a parts SC, it won't be $400 thats for sure.
you can probably find out which way by turning on your heater and see if the air gets hot or not.

yea its gone the bracket is the only thing there,and the hoses that are suppose to go to it are connected together,the guy i got the car from ****ed this car up so bad i just been dumping money in it to get it runing right.i live in florida its hot right now but there are times when it gets chilly adn the heat helps
