Question 1JZ VVTI: HKS FCD vs. Greddy BCC

Sup guys?

Just want to hear everyone's opinion on which one is better for a 1JZ VVTI; HKS or Greddy.

I did a research so far and only found this: http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...-vs-GREDDY-BCC

Thanks for your input.

as far as the FCD goes, on MKII MR2s you can easily make your own adjustable one for <20$. What do they do on the 1JZ VVTI motors? Isn't it just a potentiometer?

seeing as you do not have twin turbo's it will not affect any spooling operations for a 1jz vvti, so it will hardly be noticeable either way you go on the map signal since you still have the maf also. even if you have a non vvti with twins its still only slightly different, but with the HKS you still have a boost cut its just higher psi now, with the bcc it disables boost cut. you could probably even just disconnect the vac line going to the map sensor since it has a single turbo, but that removes all safety and you may get a cel at some point.
