HY!

i started my MT swap on my SC400 But i have no clutchline become to the T-56 bearing. The bearing have a AN4 fitting for input



and on the clutch master cylinder



Can i use normal AN4 lines? The have a inner diameter of 4,8mm! very big! or its better to use a smaller diameter for the line? i think, this is too big, a normal clutch line have maybe 2mm inner diameter.. or is this notable?

have someone the length of the lines to use the T-56 bearing in the SC? i need the lines for my swap and i will no buy to short or to long lines!

I would just use some long piece of wire and wrap it around how you want to route it and measure.
If thats the fittings they gave you maybe just run that size line. you can get converters to 3 and but you will need 2 of them for each line and that is alot of adapters, maybe just run the -4 and see how it goes since thats the fittings they gave. I know some places sell lines with the kit, so maybe ask where you got the parts from.

Thanks... i think, i must measure the line length in my car. i bought the kit ona good site, but the forget to give me the lines in the kit in the spring. after 5-6 mails, i become a short answer and no feedback more, i wait over 8 months of the lines.. no answer return... the shop have a very good name in the web, but this is no customer service

that is tough then If I knew the size I would tell you. There are a few guys with manual swaps here maybe they will see the thread and post an answer, but I assume the length will be similar to the stock clutch lines at least for the main line and I don't think you can have too large of a line it will just change where it engages disengages at most.

I'm not running a w58 or a T56 throwout bearing. I don't know if it would be different for the T56 style bearing but I'm running a 1/4 inch stainless braided line. Its a little bigger than a factory clutch line but works great! Maybe this will help you.....

Did you have to modify the shaft on the w58 or where it goes in the t56 mine doesnt fit all the way down and the lines are about 46 in long

Yes you need to cut off the sleeve around the input shaft so the T56 bearing can bolt to your adapter

Will tha tmake the input shaft unstable and possibly woble out the front bearing

No it's basically a cover sleeve that doesn't aid in stability whatsoever. Everybody that uses these kits has to do this modification for the T56 throw out bearing. Mine has been working perfect on my daily driver for 1.5 years

i would keep emailing the for the lines. i bought the same kit also, but they took a while to ship it. ill see if i can measure mines when i get some free time to give you a general idea.

ALSO if you got the lines. the slip fitting on the bearing goes to the master cylinder.

I really want to swap my AT on my '97 sc400 to a MT. I'm glad that y'all are here to offer guidance. I would be blind as to what I'm doing otherwise

Ok thanks for the input ive been looking at it and it looks like its just a slide for the original throwout... and ya it can be cut of with out future issues...
