Unhappy Head Replacement

My 1992 SC300 overheated on the freeway and ultimateley lost compression, its the unthinkable, lost the head. Does anyone have a link to head removal procedure/sequence? I'm a pretty seasoned mechanic and have done mostly american head/head gasket replacements but this is pretty intimidating looking under the hood, can't even see the head. I would like to have some instructions to follow or if anyone has some crucial tips to share before I wing it.
