Default Q:50mm wastegate on 44mm flange/tube

The wastegate's flange has 50mm(left), the manifold's has 44mm. Will this work properly?

When put together... I don't think there will be restriction on the flow. What do you think?

should be fine, it will be like having a 44mm waste gate though but that should be large enough for most setups.
