If you lose the master key to a 98-03 Lex the dealer tells you that you have to get a new ECU. Engine immobilizer code.
Now, is there any way around this? If I toss my old Motec M8 in my '99 and just have a new key cut will that work? I wasn't planning on using that but I don't want to give the stealership one red cent, especially when they charge Aftermarket ECU prices for a stock ecu...and then key fees.
