New sc400 driver. need help..

Talking New sc400 driver. need help..

i recently purchased a sc400 and the guy i purchsed it from said the a/c doesnt not work/ and the pwr switch does not work..he told me it doesnt not work becasue the fuse is not connected is that true? when i start my car the a/c doesnt not turn on but there is light showing. do i need to buy the fuse to make the a/c work?

You can try it. Its a 15a fuse . I belive its number 11.
Try your cig lighter outlet . If that doesnt work its most likely the fuse.
Mines the same way but mine is electrical. For some reason its not getting any ground.

Also check the freon with a gauge, the AC compressor will not come on if low. In some cases, the AC switch on the climate contol will flash where there is a problem with the compressor or clutch.

yea the cig outlet does not work so it could be the fuse? ill buy a new one and hopefully that works thanks!

^^The the owner before shorted the circuit out by a penny falling into the cigerette lighter area. The fuse is popped. You will have some spares in the lid of your fuse panel. Go ahead and replace it with the correct amperage and the A/C will work.

I just replaced the 15a fuse still does not work but tmy cd player works now it didnt before.. The cig lighter still not working after replacing it either any other suggestions?

Your OEM CD player in the trunk or an aftermarket unit? (#2 I assume) If replacing the fuse didn't do it...it must be the master switch for the A/C, or wiring...are you sure you replaced the fuse right? That should fix it...GL anyhow.

My cig lighter never worked, found out it was unplugged from the harness, even after reconnecting it and checking that the fuse is good made me go .

I'm an idiot I didn't know there was another fuse box under the driver side. It's working now thanks everyone!!

I was baffled to find out that replacing that fuse didn't do it! Glad to here you got it fixed. Enjoy that A/C
