Na-t is go...

Maybe...so far the block is bored 0.20 over, With a complete rebuild that has about 7k miles on it. Also replaced the ignition, water pump, timing and serpentine belts, steering rack, shocks, and bushings. Basically once the stupid tool to pull my crank pulley off shows up nothing under the hood save for the radiator and intake manifold will be 20 years old.

However after all the money I've dumped into this thing I want it to last. My auto trans has 200,xxx on it. It operates fine as is, but will it hold up to a 350-400 rwhp set up. I'd rather not source a turbo kit and then have the car sit while I source a replacement transmission.

What are your thoughts and advicecl? Am I missing any under hood components that I should replace? Should I source a transmission first? I want a 5 speed and this isn't my daily.

simple answer , no , one solid hit of boost and that ge tranny will be singing.. you can swap in a 1jz auto tranny and it uses the same kickdown cable like the ge does and do a simple valve body upgrade and that will hold around 400 with a good tranny cooler and if you dont constantly abuse it other then that , no

I am pretty sure you mean 0.020 (Twenty- thousandths) rather than 0.20?

I would sure hope so!

Simply, the automatic in these cars are junk..they are mushy for old people who don't like to feel their car shifting. I hear the TT Supra auto is stronger, but I personally have no clue..I know TH400 swaps have been done, I heard of a 4L80E swap also, and I think a 6L80E would be interesting (if even possible..doubtful), but as far as automatics go, stock won't hold the power.

Boost logic built auto tranny on my car holding 500 no problem. Feels like yout getting rear ended on shifts but my car has 25,000 miles on tranny with no issues.

I would def go R154 If I were you.. But really no need for a built R154.. Find one in good condition with the correct bell housing etc..

Youll spend alot on a built R154 and by the sounds of it your not making stupid power.. Omar (quicksc4) is running over 700whp through his stock R154 no problems..

Im a little over 420whp and havent had any issues. You can find them for a good deal from time to time. Just keep your eyes peeled..
