Default Replacing PS Pump in a 97 SC300

Guys,

Been a while since I did this, and can't find a DIY for it. Anyone have a link to replace pump on SC3?

Also, the pump I am replacing with has been sitting in my garage for a while. I think all the old fluid has leaked out of it. Is there anything I should do with this pump before I install it? Maybe pour a little ATF in there so it isn't completely dry when I start it?

Thanks,

before you start it fill up the reservoir, if u can have some one start it for u and watch the fluid while they turn the wheel lock to lock and make sure u keep it filled so all the air gets out

if you already have it out of the car id recommend snagging a power steering rebuilt kit since its cheap and will ensure that you have a virtually brand new pump upon install

Aweme, thank you

Now does anyone have a DIY on pulling the pump? I wouldn't mind a quick readover it before I start.

Thanks!
