SC300 build brought to you by the fist pump state
Just recently bought a caged sc300, black w/black and tan interior with 6 point rollcage. This used to be a high horsepower car previously but i'm unaware of it's beginnings(if this car sounds familiar to anyone... please let me know!). Now i'm trying to figure out a bunch of stuff in terms of what I want out of the build but I have the basic stuff:
2jzgte motor w/HKS 264 without harness
v160
precision 6266
I figure i'll find some kind of rear end but my quest really begins with what I need to do to make an aem ems work for my car. from what I can find I need to get the v160 lower trans harness, a stock sc300 (manual or auto?) harness and a 2jzgte engine harness to have all merged together... correct?
JRtuned is a close personal friend of mine and he'll be the tuning behind everything, but I'd like to have most of the stuff done onmy end before I have him touch the ecu. any help will be appreciated.

welcome! where in jersey are you located? you will definately need a gte engine harness at a minimum. and you will probably also need the lower harness for the v160 but i'm not entirely sure about that. otherwise a an aem ems from a supra should be plug n play for the most part. you may need to do some extra wiring here and there to get your AC to work or tach, but that really depends on what your plans for the car is (street/track/both). best of luck with your build! if you ever need a hand with anything I'd love to help out a fellow member
