Default e85 injector size NA-T

UPDATED 4/15/2013

hello everyone i recently sold my turbo scion tc which made 325 hp on 11 psi and purchased my 1992 sc300 with the intent of boosting it ASAP

now im not new to the tuning game and i have learned plenty of 1j/2jz info from my good pal slow_sc3

my plans are to run about 400whp on e85 with the basic stuff my question though will be what size injectors at minimum would i need for this. i know that guys are making ~400whp on 440cc injectos and i know that e85 requires ~30 percent more fuel which would in theory be 572cc. i plan on using 600cc which would be ~36.4 percent bigger than the 440cc and coupled with a sc400 AFM and SAFC i think this would be a nice basic match. any imput?

setup will be...

255 pump

t70 turbo

vertical flow intercooler

SAFC(yes thats right, before ppl flame i dont mind the MINOR drivability issues)

SC400 AFM

do not run e85 on a na-t setup using piggyback crap .. e85 needs more timing then stock ecu will and can deliver at the RIGHT time .. on a stock ecu , your cold start will suffer badly as well .. the only way a na-t works well is with a standalone

thank you for your input but im looking to know wheter my injectors sizing is a match for 400hp on e85. i know your concern with piggy back on na-t, but thats your concern not mine.... there are ways around hiccups and some are permenant but im willing to deal with that on a weekend warrior.

im am running e85 for the purpose of knock supression im not looking for using it to take advantage of timming....thats what more boost is for.

All i can say if good luck oh And why don't you ask Slow_sc3 what he thinks about the injectors setup or what you should do.

well omar matty doesnt like the idea of the safc niether but its only temporary i just wanna get things running for a bit, i figure with e85 and base timing down to 7-8 i wont have issues with detonation. as far as the safc i know its not the best option because i will have hiccups and stuff but for a temp solution it will do. you remember my blue turbo tc, that thing was on safc for over a year and i got used to the hiccups before i switched to aem. in the future i will be switching to gte electronics and will actually prob give you a call to help wire it for some money if you have time.

i simply just wanted to know information on the injector sizing and matt isnt really familiar with e85 as he was on pump/race gas

Don't do it it's a waste of time and money!

Get some 620cc, gte ecu +map ecu that will take care of that .

Do not use any piggyback that doesn't control timing , Do NOt try to foul the ECU.

Why don't you save your money and do it right once you have all the parts? Because you will regret it if you cut corners, Maybe even standalone when tax time comes.

Save yourself the hassle and the BS, because your crap will never run right once you install that crappy safc trying to run E85.

I will be out of the country for a little bit in the next couple days..

Edit: I just realised who you were.

If you've just decided you want to do it this way regardless go with the 620's recommended above or I'd, theoretically, use 650's. Just go with 93. 400 shouldn't cause detonation on pump.
