Default How to save $1738.50

Buy a can of MAF and throttle body cleaner. I now have over 1000 miles since the dealer told me I needed to spend $1750 to repair my code po121.

I followed the instructions from a thread in here to complete the project in about an hour, and I go slow. I haven't noticed any improvement in mileage, but the performance pepped up a bit. I also haven't gone into limp mode since either. No trouble lights. But I still carry my code eraser just the same.

What specific cleaner brand did you use for the MAF?

CRC from oreillys.

My car is a 2000, 400.

Read up in here, apparently there are different sensors depending on cars age, and I believe that earlier sensors do not like to be cleaned!
