Default BOV Vacuum

im doing my intercooler piping for 1jz swap but im getting mixed answers from posts regarding BOV location. Is this too far from the manifold to get vacuum (see pic)

It doesn't really matter where you place it, especially a TIAL.

Theres been a debate going on for as long as i can remember which side is better to vent off the pressure. Some people say right after the turbo is best and some say closest to the throttle body is best. And the debate is over which one causes the least amount of surge on the compressor.

I personally have mine about 6" from the throttle body, and i do get a little surge when the weather is cold.

The safest thing to do is what blk&blu did and have a BOV on both sides
