Default coolant over flow bottle types and location recommendations for FMIC

where do you guys put yours and which one are you running. In the supra, we get the corrola bottle and use that one. mine is infront of the condensor which i think is a waste of good air.

thanks,
sid

ps pictures and part numbers would be hugely appreciated.

I have used the stock SC300/SC400 one in the factory location. My intercooler is actually beneath the stock overflow coolant bottle.

hope this helps you out.

I have not figured out where to mount mine yet as the i/c is in the way as well as my 3rd trans cooler is up there to get clean cool air (behind the front grill in my 97)

I honestly don't remember the measurements on my FMIC, but I chose to mount mine all the way back against the condenser for the AC. I think that is why mine still fit. I do know the FMIC is 4 inches thick if I remember correctly. I will see if I can dig up some better pictures.

With all the stuff like radiator and tranny cooler I thought the stock bottle takes up too much room. I saw some cans on eBay but wast sure. Nthanks and more pics of other setups
