Default Engine Bay Harness

Hello,

Short story: bought 95 SC300 M/T headlights are hardwired to ignition switch, no hi-beams. When i traced the harness i found it to be all messed up(cut and rewired), plugs are missing and bunch of extra wires. I used multimeter to check wires from sockets to point where it was cut and found that many wires were bad. So i got another wire harness from junkyard but since it was A/T SC300 with Trac Cont. it had extra wires and worst part - different plugs to body computer (BCM).

Old harness P/N

New harness P/N (don't know)

At this point, i traced wires and checked plugs for matching colors (didn't check for amount of dots on wires since plugs are the same). New harness obviously had some extra wires that i ruled out to be useless.

Problem: old harness has green plug(inside cabin passenger side) that new one doesn't have and i cant find matching wires.

Brown wires from old green plug disappear in old harness

New harness didn't have that green plug but i found same brown wires and still cant trace them to anything else

Does anybody know what this green plug is for? or where it ends in the harness?

Your best bet would be to let Cartmill, Vrank, Dr. Tweak or Quick chime in.....There are many others but they are the kings of wiring...

personal opinion here, i would abort that project faster than a damn rape baby, then proceed to purchase a harness for a 95 sc300 without TRAC and AT.

haha no worries, i sliced few more wires just to find out i was going in a completely wrong direction. This is where green plug from old harness goes to

And that's were all wires lead to

Answer: Directly to BCM plug, so it will be piece of cake to integrate with new harness
