Default 93 SC300 Aristo Swap No Temp Or Tach After Fix

So I have a bit of an issue. I'm in the middle of finishing up my friends SC300. The car is a '93 with an a non VVTI Aristo motor, Aristo harness and ECU. I didn't do the wiring and going through the car to finish it up i noticed that the temp and tach fix were already done. I can't seem to find the fix on getting them to work. The R109 resistor was bypassed and soldered in correctly and the resistor was removed entirely. On the middle plug, the previous person wiring it soldered together the pink wire and the blue/red stripe wire. After repairing some other wires behind the cluster I still cannot get them to work at all. Can anyone give some insight on getting the gauges to work?
