Default white smoke, power steering issue (acv)

HI,

I know I have a power steering issue because I have to add ps fluid every 2-3 days. Also when I start the car I see lots of white smoke from the tail pipe. I been reading about the issue and all I found out is that it is air control valve. Some thread says just plug it up. I have NO idea where the air control valve located.

Can someone tell me where the air control valve is for the power steering.

Thanks

No offense intended, but you've been registered for 3+ years and haven't mastered searching? This forum has a WEALTH of information stored in it. There are links or threads to just about anything that your heart can desire...and if you do not come across it, please inquire. However, searching will be your best friend, as almost everything has been addressed at one time or another. Yes, it can sometimes be a pain to weed through the threads and posts looking for that one specific answer, however if you hone your search skills and keep an open mind you will often learn more than you anticipated...which is really the overall purpose. There is a regular search, and an advanced search. You can search individual terms, or group them together with " ".

^this, but also at least help out by giving a suggestion too.
Is it a sc400 or sc300? If a sc400 then the link posted above can help you. If a sc300 then I'll look for a thread with the idle air control valve location.

Also, are you putting in the recommended liquid in the powersteering reservoir? Check the clamps to see if theyre loose.
