no heat?

i recently tried my heat and found that its not working. the coolant is full and the vehicle has a mishimoto radiator. the car does not overheat at all, and when i do turn the heat on its has kind of a musty smell to it. the heater core is not leaking because it is not wet on the carpet. is it maybe just clogged or has anyone else had this problem.

thankyou

Check to see if the vacuum line on the heater control valve is hooked up. If it is check to see if the connector is plugged in.

SC300 or 400?

If it's a 400 then make sure you add coolant to the upper coolant neck via 17mm bolt. If you just filled through the radiator then it's not bled

If you can, have someone sit in your car and switch your CC knob from hot to cold and back to hot again. Look at the actuator on the heater valve on the firewall and see if it moves.

Like others said, check the heater control valve. If you need to replace it, there is a good DIY here detailing about a replacement heater control valve that costs MUCH less than the $300 something lexus part.

it ended up being just the vacuum line! thanks for all the help!!
