Don't do it.

I am in the middle of an LY6/TR6060 swap going into a 92' SC400. I highly regret this swap but I'm too far in money-wise to pull the plug.

This swap requires many custom items such as: AC lines, power steering lines, driveshaft, engine/trans mounts etc.

What motor were you thinking about going with? The late 4.8's can be had for 500.00+$ and are very strong. I read an article where a builder put 1200 hp through a stock 4.8 on boost.

Are you able to fabricate mounts?

You will need a complete motorset. IE: engine, trans, wiring harness, ecu. Try to get an engine with all accessories included.

Have you considered a 2JZ swap? If I could do it all again I would have just went with a GTE swap.

Just go with a GTE and get the adapter plate kit to mount the 350z trans to it. LS swaps are a pain man trust ma.

Why not put the 1UZ in it? I would think it would be an easier swap. I've got one with trans I'd sell you if you wanna go that route.

My suggestion is you stop blaspheming...

2JZ-GTE is the answer.

Cuz its easier to just buy an sc400 on the cheap.

That's also a reason to not put a 350 in one. I just figured if you're gonna do a swap, why not go with something you know should work.

save your self alot of time, sell your car and buy a sc400, which are much cheaper to find then mod it.
