Hi guys,
So I have a 1994 SC400. It's been running great with 200,000 miles, no major problems other than the alternator having to be replaced. It's my baby
A few days ago, I drove it home from work and it would not accelerate past 60mph. The rpm would jump up, but it would not accelerate. Also, on hills, it would barely make it up a hill. I figured it was the transmission. But then I saw the fuel was going quicker than usual. When I parked my car, it smelled like burnt fuel. My neighbor mechanic checked it out, and he checked out the transmission and he said everything looks fine, and he doesn't know what the problem is. Can someone please help me out? I love this car, and I cannot afford to/want to lose it! Thank you very much!
