Center Support Bearing

I ordered my Center Support Bearing from Lexus, it should be here tomorrow. How hard is it to replace? Is there anything special I should know other than marking how they are together now and put it back the same? Does the exhaust need to be removed?

On another note just serviced the transmission with rubber gasket and it leaks. I guess I should pick up a gasket from the dealer also, it leaks in one spot on the corner.

My alarm is super sensitive will go off if I am sitting in the car, any ideas. Driveshaft is the most important thing I need answered.

Thanks so much Alex. 93 Lexus SC300 automatic

Why did you replace the center support bearing? How did you rule that this was bad?

No it's not too hard to replace, just a couple of bolts and that's all. But you do need to take off the exhaust as well. On a side note why are you changing the support bearing??

Im curious as well since you havent even dropped the exhaust to check for play.
Where exactly is the tranny leaking from? Because i just recently dropped my automatic and saw that it was leaking where the rear end of the case meets the bulk of the case, so that it was leaking through the form in plqce gasket. Luckily im installing an r154 because it looks like a pita to tear apart the tranny just to be resealed
