Default Question about Turbo...

Hey guys I was thinking about getting a bolt oN turbo kit online and wanted to know how much hp it will add and is it really worth it? I dont really have an extra 5k for a supra TT swap so i was looking at bolt ons around 1000 plus the install fee. Any suggestions? Found this on ebay... http://www.ebay.com/itm/T67-Turbo-ki...ht_4065wt_1163

I'm sorry to be the first to say but if all you plan on spending is 1000 plus install. I'm afraid your car will blow up. To turbo it your looking at 1500 min for all the stuff you need. Then another 200 for any exhaust mods needed. Then another 1500-2000 for a good standalone system installed and tuned. I may be wrong on these prices but that's the way I see it. If you wanna do it right.

There is no way to boost a car cheaply and have it running right...Save up and do it right the first time...You'll save a ton of money and headaches later on...

go to boost logic or a reputable shop and buy one of their kits, get an aem ems standalone, re-do your exhaust for better flow, get some gauges(boost, a/f, oil pressure, etc), and get it tuned from a reputable shop. cost me about 8Gs. 350whp and my only holdback is the w58 tranny.

Sounds like its a NA-T..8K sounds about right if you have a shop do the install and dyne tune...AEM is over 1500 already by itself with no tune...Tuning probably another 1k....Gauge and other miscellaneous stuff will cost over a thousand also...Boost is not cheap....
