First thanks for any help, I have searched and understand most of my issues.(NEOS write up) Issue was white smoke and it was pushing power steering fluid into the intake. My questions are

I plugged both the hoses and it cleared up the white smoke issue but my power steering is not working at all now. Do I need to take out the idle value and replace with a bolt in order for the power steering to work again or is it a difference issue.

I saw one post where someone ran a hose from the intake hose to the throttle body replacing the two hoses what does that do.
