Loosen up the motor mounts and brackets maybe start the bolts ten tighten the mounts and bracket up? I'm in the middle of my 1jz vvti swap right now

Sorry not sure if the mounts are the same or not. I had an issue with my R154 trans mount. The passenger side motor mount had "hung up" and didn't settle all the way down. I had to loosen the motor mounts and let the motor drop down before the trans mount would line up.

can't see the pics, but from my experience i didn't have problems with the mount lining up. should line up, you sure your mount is on right? crossmember facing the right direction?
