Default Easiest way to get to the spark plugs/cams on an SC3?

Hey everybody, I wanted your input as far as what is the best way to remove the intake to get to the sweet stuff below it. The service manual says to remove the throttle body and the y-pipe together, but that involves removing the two lower bolts on the EGR pipe...how the hell do you do that?

You could also remove the TB and the y-pipe separately, but this has its challenges also. I suppose you could also remove the first part of the intake manifold, possibly with the TB and y-pipe attached. Any input?

Thanks
Wyatt

I recently did this with my dad on my sc, basically you have to get a good angle and a socket with a flexible head. Be careful of the vacuum hoses in that area, You really have no choice . We tried unscrewing the large nut on the EGR but it doesn't bend back at all. It a real pain to do. Idk if this helped at all.

Hey just for future reference I found this very helpful link

http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...ll-EGR-Removal

Just do that and the 4 bolts and 2 nuts on the y-pipe + vacuum lines/coolant hoses, and the whole top of the intake should come off
