The time has come to upgrade my rail and injectors. Im looking at running 400-450hp with map ecu and it was recommended that I run 750cc instead of dropping in 550's, I already have a denso 280 pump but I was trying to find everything else and was having a pretty tough time. I recently found a kit by Fuel Injector Clinic for $810 and thought it sounded too good to be true. Is this the case?

Nope they're legit. I've got a 850cc FIC kit on my Supra. They've got a good name on supraforums. IF that's all you looking for hp wise why not go with just 650cc?

we've missed some key information here. Do you want to run e85 or straight gas? Do you want headroom to possibly achieve more horsepower in the future?

Pump gas right now and probably in the future due to the difficulty in finding it in , and after I beef up the trans and diff I want to run around 650-700hp, I feel that this is a reasonable setup to achieve that with.

Great company, My 2150cc are from there as well as several of my friends with 850-2200cc no issues. We down here have liberty of E-85.

If you plan on making a lot more hp in the future I would find an injector that allows room for more power later on down the road. Unless of course you don't mind buying another set of injectors when the time comes. I personally like doing things once, doing them right. I also reccomend making sure you get the proper data for those injectors so that when it comes time to tune it, you have the correct data for injector dead times etc etc. There are other options out there besides FIC. I personally couldn't be paid to use an FIC product but that is just my opinion. Do some research and find whats the best fit for your car in the big picture

Do You have any suggestions for other brands to look into? I was also looking at the ID725s and a comparable fuel rail with maybe an aeromotive fuel regulator, but I want to limit my total to about $1200

be careful with the map ECU. IIRC you can only go 3 times bigger than the original fuel injector anything bigger the MAP cant control. at least thats how it was on the map 2 ecu.

I like ID injectors, and five-0-motorsports is selling some similar EV14 injectors at quite a discount that perform well. I ran a set of 1000's on mine but that was on an aem, and they ran perfect at idle. im running 750's now.
sounds like you need a 650 or 750 injector. I have heard of people running 1000cc on the newer map ecu's with some success, so 750 is a good choice.

I'll be running Fuel Injector Clinic's high impedence FIC 1100's soon with my NA-T setup. They have 11mm top adapters that will work with the stock fuel rail as well.

Both are good to use! Five-o is the name of the shop. ID is the name of the injectors and can probably be had by FIC fuel injector clinic or Five-o.


BTW I'm running on 850's on Map Ecu 2 with no issues. Ran them on VPC/SAFC combo as well with not issue too.
