Default 93 sc300 tranny issues AGAIN

Ok I'm totally fed up with this car. I've exhausted every option I can think off . Where do I start , the car was pulling off in the wrong gear , the over drive light kept flashing . I changed the trans fluid an filter even changed the shift selonoids . Car ran fine for about a month then started back doin the same. Finally I said ill swap out the tranny did that it worked fine for a half hr went back not shifting properly . Swaped the ecu same thing worked fine for a while now its back to the same thing.. I had a friend check the codes an I got 61 63 64 . I'm seriously about to junk the car . Any input @ this point would greatly be appreciated

Hard to say...If your OD light is on then something inside the the trans is not right...I have a friend the had the same problem and turned out to be a shift solenoid and needed a rebuild,,he just did a 5speed swap and was done with it..

Hey guys Im the friend that tried to help with the issue. Again he's getting code 61, 63 and 64.. Aren't 63 and 64 directly related to 61 the speed signal? I saw a link that may be related and also help a previous car i worked on but not sure if it will help this issue.

hey how did you guys check trans codes? i seem to be having similar issues, new solenoids fresh fluid and filter and it pulls off in second gear unless i jam my foot all the way into the ground to hit the button.

also the damn thing wont downshift into first even at super low speeds 5-10 mph it just creeps off slowly in second. my 94 gs300 will spank my sc just because the trans shifts perfectly.

not sure if this is related to your issue but theres a gear indicator that the shifter connects to on the transmission that you can turn to adjust. maybe its out of alingment?

so where exactly you say its located??? its where the actual shifter links up to the trans??? in what way can it be adjusted??? is it just to show which position the shifter is in or does it have another function.

very interested cause i just hopped in the gs300 i bought and the trans shifts flawless and now i hate my sc.... almost feel like making it stick but im really against that right now.

can anyone chime in on the procedure to read trans codes? i assume its not just te1 to e1 like obd1 retrieval

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...-properly.html

its on the passanger side of the transmission, mounted on the side where the coolant lines go.

yeah after reading that probably completely unrelated, seems that only has affect on shifter position and indicator lights.... im talking about my trans wont downshift correctly and upshifts even when trying to accelerate
