Default sc300: do i cap this vacuum line/ pic request

i have a vacuum leak( causing o2 sensor CEL lights periodicallyh and ebrake warning under hard braking)

* ive removed intake manifold a few times adjusting valve clearance. issue occurred after this.
*ive tried using carb cleaner to locate vacuum leak( i guess its too small)?

anyways should i cap this vacuum line( i can hear the suction in it) or do i leave it open. Its in the passenger side of the firewall, pics shown below

and zoomed out

also if anyone could kindly take a picture of their vacuum line routing on the driverside of the engine bay by the intake manifold; it would be greatly appreciated.

Mine is open like that as well. Must be part of that mysterious system known as "EVAP"
Never felt if it has vacuum or not. I always wanted to know what it does but always forgot to look it up.

sounds good sir! its just this issue came out of no where. its either one of these lines or one other thing i might be overlooking. my valve cover broke so im using a random fuel line as a hose which doesnt fit exactly snug. im waiting to stumble upon another valve cover so i can fix that and get it taken care of:

The first one is a check valve for the charcoal canister. I would not cap it off.

do not cap the first one it is definately a safety relief valve for the evap canister, it will only release pressure if the canister builds up too much pressure before the engine has a chance to draw it in. it is a safety feature that only opens in emergencies so it should not be capped off.

Just checked this to confirm. He is right. Don't touch it and leave it alone. It's like that.
