Doing a 1jzgte swap into a '95 SC400. I am using motor mounts from a '95 SC300. The front of the engine seems to be a bit higher than the rear of the engine. Am I using the wrong mounts? or is that how the 1jz normally sits? People who have done this swap before please shed some light. Thanks.

Well for one thing that was meant for a 2jz engine, maybe the mount holes on the block etc changed on during that change. Someone will chime in though.

Engine is from a Soarer, mount brackets are the ones it came with, and they are properly bolted to the right holes on the block.

O yeh I forgot they had GTE's over there.... Are you sure they used 1jz's????? would think they would use 2jz???

If the engine is from the soarer everything should drop in.. Supra TT mounts are recommended

damn, that might be my problem then.. I am using SC300 motor mounts for the 2jzge obviously. I should have used supra TT then? They are different part numbers.. I assume different physically as well.. Thanks.
