So, I came home from work Friday morning, parked the car, and the drove the fiancee's car the rest of the weekend, as 30MPG is better than the 18 or so I get, especially when she drinks premium lol.

So, I go out today to run a few errands before work, and she won't start. In the on position, all the electronics worked. Crank it over to start it, and all I get is a repeated clicking. Also, the side-view mirrors were sporadically moving, even though the switch has never worked, and still doesn't now.

I did a quick search, and saw that the clicking is probably the starter. Someone posted that if you kept trying, it'd start. Well, it didn't. The clicking died down then just stopped, and it drained the battery.

So, I'm lost. Is it the starter. or something else? Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot it? What is the least expensive way of fixing it?

0) check voltage at bat
0.5) see if your neg cable it loose
1) do you hear fuel priming
2) do you have spark

doing the starter is a huge PIA

Sounds like battery. If its multiple clicks battery. If its just one click and then nothing starter typically.
