Default 97 Sc400 Fuel Pump 12v mod.

Hello I searched and found this.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...tures-faq.html

But it is for a sc300 not a sc400. Idk if there the same or not.

Would everything be the same in this case? Hate to do it to my car and it not start or something dumb.

Some people say you got to do this at the ECU.
BTW my car is stock.

Life for these is unknown. Some last 20 years like mine. Some are far shorter.

Mine lasted 17 years, then I decided to do this mod after it died.

Some people say there is no gain from doing this on a non-boosted sc400? is that true? I mean the full 12 volts makes sense to me.

There is no reason to do it unless it runs better with the mod. Mine does, esp when cranking, so it's modded!

Mine runs like a champ when I do this mod. I undid it for now to fix some other issues first.
