i have searched everywhere and on real answer.has anyone ever use ebay throttle bodies on a 2jzge?when going ffim.i just want people that are using them to give me sme input on them.

some of the guys on supraforums claim that the butterflies are crap and will collapse on high boost. i plan to run a q45 tb since they cost about the same and 90mm is all you need

Remember you car is a 98 so it's DBW , IF your EMS will take care of that then just get the Q45 TB works very well.
It has been proven to work great so i would go with that.

but i have a wire going to my tb from inside my car.how does that make me DBW?

I've heard alot of cheap brands of tb getting stuck at wot, but never heard of a stock oem one yet... User a q45 they are big cheap and reliable

I think the problem is they leak boost or let too much air past @ idle.

Drive by wire.
on odb1 your throttle cable controls the throttle plate opening directly.
on odb2, your throttle cable runs to a sensor on the throttle body, and the motor on the throttle body controls the trottle plate opening.
