Default E-Brake Light On

I have a 92 soarer and from what i remember when i bought the car the brake light was off but i really don't remember but what i do know is that its on and that it wont go off.

This is what Ive checked:
all taillight bulbs replaced
all headlight and signal bulbs replaces
brake pads all new
fluid in the clutch reservoir
fluid in the brake master cylinder

Ive even cut the purple wire on the brake failure lamp module to see if there was a problem there but its still on. So if you've had a similar problem and fixed it help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

mine comes on and stays on every once in a while, i think its grounding out on my seat somehow, only happens on hard braking and goes away during acceleration.

You might wanna flush your brakes and check for leakage.

Check the ground on the emergency brake. I've had a few cars with the same issue and it was just a loose connection or the terminal was pulled off somehow.

Mine does the same. Sounds like a wiring issue. I saw a wiring manual for 300's on amazon, I may give that a shot.

Check your brake fluid it is probably low. You may have a leak.
