sc300 97 trans into 93
So I recently aquired a 93 sc300 in a super bowl bet an the trans seems to be slugish an also won't go into over drive . I have a tranny from a 97 an was wondering if there's any diffrence or can I just drop it right in? Thanks for any help in advance

I have a feeling it might be missing some sensors ( chassis harness), I don't speak from actual experience though. I'm sure someone who knows will chime in

Actually the trans is from a 95 . An the car I wana put it in is a 93

it's not like this is something we do every day. 95-93 shouldn't be too different, probably the same trans. 97+ they changed some

Please post a pic of the tranny you want to install with any markings noted. What was the build month of the 1993 (inside driver's door post)? I recall something stupid about mid-year changes but that might have been to the Supra.

92-94
95 is not interchangeable
96-97
that 's what i know so it maybe not work properly unless you swap the ECu also.because its the ecu that makes the difference.
