old r154 shifter for mk3 what to do

Default old r154 shifter for mk3 what to do

what do yall usually do with the mk3 shifter housing(retainer)? im looking for one and i have searched the classifieds and no one has one?

I found mine at a junkyard and you can usually find them at supramania.com because a lot of mkIII owners use that site. I believe the MKIII w58 and r154 bolt up. Double check it's been a while since I did my swap.

w58 and r154 have diff bolt patteren for retainer but shifter seems to fit either housing, just diff angle on shifter. supramania wants to much for the dang retainer.
