1jzgte sc300 not starting
I just picked this car up today, got it home, drove home fine, i started the car 4-5 times when i was looking at it, it started up prefect. the car is manly stock. 1jzgte engine and auto trans swapped. the car ran smooth, boost came on hard, car is stock expect a fmic. has a new denso pump. i drove it home 45 minutes. got home went to bed for 5 hours, went to leave the car wont start.
the car wants to start, bumps and starts to start but doesnt. fuel pump is kicking on. i got it started once, it was running ruff, tap the gas it died instantly.
its raining out so i havent tore into it,
any idea's?

alternator bad? guy charged battery, sold it you drove it home on the battery power only. tried it again in the morn and no juice to turn it over? has power left to power fuel pump and everything els tho. or maybe maf cause of the ruff idle? check if its bolted down in the maf housing good. and check the plug.

Because it's a MAP system, it doesn't rely on counted air through the pipes like a MAF.
I just drove my car 5 miles with no intercooler pipe, so there goes that.
What about spark? Are you getting spark to the Ignitor? At the coil pack? Get your multi meter out!
Air, fuel, fire. Then start inventing smart sounding options.

getting fuel, pulled the coil pack, stuck the plug in it to check for spark, nothing. plugs are wet with fuel. so im guessing no spark.
where should i start with no spark on these engines.

swapped a ignitor, still no spark,
i found a gray plug that i cant find where it goes, it seems to have 2 wires coming out it is long enough to hit the bottom of the engine. but it seems the crank sensor is in, there is a black thick wire, that goes into the spot for the sensor.
not sure if this sensor goes somewhere which will be stopping it from sending spark.
i know nothing about these engines, so any help will be great.
