Default Bought a Turbo 5 speed SC400, and its already under the knife...
Just bought a SC400, for a little project cause i have been bored lately LOL, still a V8, converted to 5 speed and on boost. Its in need of some TLC and some proper mechanics. Its really nice looking, fresh paint, drop, wheels and other goodies. Defenitely has potential.

The car HAD a cheap ebay t3/t4, gotta check out the wastegate, and a HKS BOV. I already removed the turbo gonna put a T70 i had on my IS300 that made 700whp. The piping and exhaust work is top notch, VERY VERY well done. The motor has 92 V8 internals (heard they are stronger) and other things. Looking forward to getting it done to my standards. I will post pix very soon. I snapped a quick one last night while woking on it...

How did you come across this SC so quickly? i didnt even see it in the classifieds sections? Already was prolly a beast, now soon to be beast master...

The welding on the pipe looks great..

wow! i didnt know that there were that many sc400-T 5 speeds out there! let alone one for sale! if you dont mind would you PM me with what you paid for it?

Hahaha...if you add 2 x's abd rearrange your user name and you have xxtoobsxx, my user name! Ironically I to have a sc400 with turbo n 5 speed...(need a few things to make it compete though).

First one i have seen in person ever. There may be a hand full on the net, very rare to see a V8 speed anywhere! I paid some decent money to be honest man.

When I saw the title to this thread (specifically the "going under the knife part) I thought this was gonna be another 1uz getting gutted and swapped to 2jz. Thank God it isn't.

Who did it belong to, is he a member here, and why the hell haven't I heard of this till now?
