Default Problem solved! sourse of power loss, new crank seals and ps hose, espiler springs

So today i found out the problem to my power loss / poor throttle respnce. i went throught the usial cap and rotor, sparkplugs, wires, maf , vacume hoses. and nothing. so i noticed that my timing was off. after taking it all a part i noticed something odd with the crank shaft gear. The key wore down the metal and gave that gear room to move and constantly change my timing. Is this a usial or common problem? well thought i would point this out as others with power loss problems as i went through a headache of things before i accedently found the sourse. i went ahead and changed my power steering hose. i snaged a like new or redone one from the junkyard for 10$! and while appart i want and orderd cam seal and crankshaft. here are some pics. Oh and update on my car lowerd on espiler springs and kybs.

see where it wore down?

the new one picked up from fresno lexus

olny stock pick of my car i could find

here it is as it sits

That wear pattern is extremely unusual. The normal problem is being unable to get these bloody gears off the end of the crankshaft. Was the key the correct size?

well i went around and looked for replacement keys and none of them fit correctly except the one from lexus. so i assume that the key or something was replaced and caused it to wear like that
