Default Best investments for NA-T 2JZ?

Alright guys, I got a few questions here and yeah I searched but I really didn't find the answers I was looking for, so I'ma just shoot em' out here.

Basically, I can't really afford a turbo kit (maybe in the future) but for now I wanna know if I can do some stuff to my SC300 to make it "somewhat" faster? Like an example, I know the BFI Intake is a cheap investment that works, but what about an exhaust? Or, would it be worth it to buy an intercooler? Are there benefits? Disadvantages? I'd really appreciate the help guys

If I can't make the car any faster or at least give it a nice rumble, then I figured I'd might aswell just drop it and make her low n' pretty.

I'm confused.
Titile says NA-T.
First line says just NA.

Intercooler only if NA-T.
If NA, I wouldn't even bother doing anything.

if you can't afford to buy the turbo kit all at once then just take your time buying parts one at a time like i did.

Don't bother with that stuff man.

If anything, I'd only do a BFI because it will work to a point and it's not costly to make.

When I bought my car it was a regular bone stock 2JZGE Auto. I tried a few things like the MVP Motorsports (Xerd) headers. These supposedly give an extra 10-15 more whp; but they sounded so bad and raspy I had to get rid of them asap.

The best thing you can do right now if your car is an Auto is do a 5spd swap. After that just sit back and save some funds for a turbo.

U need to clarify if your car is NA-T or u wanna go NA-T...
exhaust system will help either way if u get high flowing stuff and bigger pipes.
BFI-like 97-sc300 said.

Oh, my bad guys, I meant NA, didn't mean to confuse you.
Alright, so BFI and exhaust or 5-speed swap. Sounds good, thanks for the advice!
