Not sure about PPE, but IMF headers wont bolt straight up to the vvt-i's, but they will to the pre-98 1uz's.
Maybe its the same with PPE's?

IMF headers do bolt straight up to pre 98 1UZ's, mine did but not a very good fit on one of the factory flanges, resulting in a slight leak. I did a full exhaust anyway so it didn't matter.

Hi guys,

Most of our 1UZ headers will bolt the the factory cats. This goes for the GS400, GS430, LS400, LS430 and SC430.

The only version that does not bolt the the factory cats is the SC400.

This is because it has a very short manifold and longer cat than any of the other models.

It would be really helpful if you guys were to make a guide/directions on how to do this. So that people would know what they're going up against before buying your product.

What about the oil dipstick? For the LS430, is any modification required?
