Default Gearing question. (with lsd)

i just got a TT LSD with 3.226 gearing.. im getting 200miles to a full tank.. is that normal or are my gears set wrong? i was getting about 320 miles on a full tank before. my main concern is i want to keep the lsd and also get good gas miles. any suggestions?

You THINK you are getting 200MPT, but that is because your speedo/odo is wrong now due to the ratio change. I bet when you are doing 60MPH it really feels more like 80? I suggest a Dakota digital box to correct the speedo.

Are you sure it's 3.26 gear in it? because the only reason why you will have better MPT is if you had a 3.13 gear ratio and you switched back to 3.26.
You may wanna drop that diff back off and count the gears and do the math to get your final ratio.
What car do you have?
What diff did you have in there before?
It sound to like something is wrong here, maybe it's not 3.26 ??? maybe.

A TT LSD has a stock gearing of 3.76 IIRC. Unless you or someone put in a 3.26 ring and pinion I don't think the TT LSD ever came with the 3.26. I could be wrong though as it has been a while since I read up on this subject. When doing a gear change the speedometer and odometer is off. You need a GPS to get your distance correct so you can figure out you actual fuel consumption. Do that and get back to us.
