Hey CL...my 92 sc4 is not running right. It creeps to get to speed, also as soon as i start the car i'm hearing a popping noise from my cats. I've searched and read a lot...i've changed the ignition coil, spark plugs and wires and recently an oil change...still no change. MPG sucks....I've called a few muffler shops, thought my cats are probably clogged, they told me it couldn't that it might be my o2 sensor or maf or even fuel injector...i have no CEL...i'm thinking that my cats are clogged which is preventing my car to drive the way it should....i have no idea, any input is appreciated!

I have a 'bad' cat (not sure if that means its clogged or just not working properly?) and my SC is throwing a code. So I'd say it must be one of those sensors. There's a few threads on here with write-ups about those sensors. Look around a bit more..

look up some post about a bad ecu's. They usually have some type of white smoke coming too and smelt like unburnt gas but I hope it helps.

thanks for the info....i started my car and i can hear something rattling in the cat...i'm leaning towards getting them taken off or replaced
