Default Replace Timing Belt when getting my Starter done?

Hey Everyone,

I am replacing the starter contacts in my 98 SC4, getting the dreaded "Click" start problem. It went away for a while, but came back, and now absolutely refuses to turn over - Great

Just wondering, when doing the starter removal and service is the Timing belt within "easy" reach of there? Should I be doing it at the same time?

Cheers

Might as well, unless your timing belt is fairly new

Yes, but not the other way around. Timing belt job does not require removal of the valve covers.
