Question No spark no crank position sensor???

I have 94 sc300 GTE non vvti. It isn't getting spark or fuel. I can't find the crankshaft position sensor. It's not in the front of the block by the water pump/crank pully. Where could it be? Does it even have one? Could it be in the distributor or bell housing?

The actual sensor is under the lower timing cover, wires come out somewhere around the alternator more or less behind it. It is a plug with two wires. Make sure you have power everywhere first before you think its the sensor, check power on coils, injectors etc... Hope this helps.

your car gets cam/crank info from the distributor. While the dist may have gone bad it's probably your ecu that failed. Ask me how I learned that lesson
