Although both of my headlights work and check out OK by dealer, people keep telling me one of them is out if I'm following behind them at night. I've even been pulled over by police for this (no ticket issued, but i had to walk the guy out in front of the car and walk back and forth in front of it to show him they are both lit). They seem to work well for me as the driver, trying to see stuff on the road, but this CAN'T be right! At certain angles people can see there are two lit, but one appears REAL dim until you shift angles and look head on to it. What causes this and how do I fix it?

is your lense yellow and couldy looking? if so you need to resurface your headlights or at the least use some plastic-X polish from your local auto store and buff the headlights till they start looking clear again.
do a search for headlights and yellowing or cloudy.

No, they're clean. It seems like they don't both aim correctly, but do pass the dealers test.

Maybe the headlight bulb somehow came loose, and is just kinda dangling? No idea tbh
