Default Just installed new trans mount sc400

So i recently bought a great 99 black on black sc400. Needed some maintenence done. One of the issues that it needed was a new trans mount. It was worn and broken. I started to notice that at about 80 mph the car started to make a rhythmic humming noise coming from the drivetrain. Sounded like a hum hum hum... It was so loud i couldnt stand it. So i searched this forum and found different possible things that couldve been the problem. Bad drive shaft, u joints, center shaft bearing and also the trans mount. Called kerry from lexus westminster and he gave me a great deal for the new oem mount and it took me less the 30 mins to install. With that being said... man, what a freakin difference!!! The humming stopped completely! Drives so smooth and quiet! Car felt crisper and no clunking noise. I have to say this is a must do maint tip! Try changing the trans mount first before anything else.

Yes!
Glad you did it, I had the exact same experience with mine. The car felt brand new after I changed that mount. Best thing I ever did to my car..!
