Default 2jzge sensor next to the oil dipstick use ??anyone? pictures inside

Recently I started to do a 2jzge swap on my mk3, but I wanted to know the use of the sensor, right next to the oil dipstick. If anyone knows or have a diagram, I will greatly appreciate it.
