Any Short Shifter for Soarer R154?!?!
i haven't been able to find a short shifter for the soarer R154. ('94+ with remote shifter assembly)
the shifter slides into the housing and then at the bottom you but a big bolt horizontally through it, just like the v160/161 supra 6-speed tranny. which makes me wonder if, let's say, a b&m short shifter for the v160 would also work on the soarer r154?? or if there are any other transmission that have interchangeable short shifters?? this is to clarify what I'm talking about http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l2.../r154gg8-1.jpg Group by list Need at least 20 too proceed: 1.RyanV 2.1joz sc 3.buckwheat |

There is a company that sells a solid quality remote W58/R154 short shifter for around $100
They've been out of stock for a long time and they keep saying the shipment will come in, but it's been at least a year. I've ran the one I have in both my W58 and R154 and it works well for both, very well made. The place is in Addison, Texas and is called TopSpeed, so if some of you start calling and bugging them about this shifter they may expedite a new shipment finally. I REALLY need another one myself and I wish topspeed would get up off their butts on this.. |

Bill, the one I'm talking about is for the shifter cradle W58 and R154
There's a guy on supramania that sells a killer toploader R154 shortshifter. I'm not sure if he's still making them or not though. probably not a lot of demand for this stuff. |
Hey, does he still make them cause I don't want to have to make a account just to view a dead thread
|
I really dont know if hes made more of those shifters, but this guy below might be a good source.
someone might want to reach out to this guy asap http://www.celicasupra.com/forums/sh...uging-Interest |
