Sc400 Rear Main Seal Replacement
I searched around looking for a tutorial/write up for replacing the rear main seal on a sc400. I didn't find any detailed info on this task. Can the rear main seal be replaced without a lift? Would ramps provide enough clearance. Just trying to get some general info from someone who has done this before. My rear main seal has been leaking for over a year. I think I've been pretty lucky so far, but sooner or later its gonna give.

Yes it can be done without a lift but you will not like it haha it's not fun that tranny is heavy specially if you are working on your back.
Just remove the trans with the tq inside don't remove the torq converter, or you will have to replace the seal. So leave the tq converter in the trans while being remove.
Ehxaust has to come off but it's a straight forward process... i have done a couple of them without a lift and it's not fun.
