ok, after figuring out what was the annoying sound coming from my engine, i have read that the causes can be.

For those who dont know what spark detonation is

I am thinking that it is my EGR valve since it is a high miles car (190k) or the knock sensor.

Can anyone tell me where is the EGR valve in this car, and how to diagnose if its in working order?

And where is the knock sensor? and also how to test it out in these cars.
